Early Celluloid Ornaments
These are among the earliest of American made plastic
ornaments. Produced in 1941 by the Freeman, Taylor and Stanley Company
in New York. These are made of cellulose acetate - a non-flammable type
of celluloid.
These were manufactured during WWII, when imports from Europe were
cut off. They are molded, with seams along the sides. Note the patriotic
colors.
Very light in weight.
Excellent condition.
